Action Club

Hello North East Families!

We are the Action Club, an organization similar to the PTA/PTO found in elementary and middle schools. Anyone can join our club free of charge; however, we are primarily a group of parents who work together to support and enhance the experiences of students, staff, and the local community at North East High School (NEHS).

Our mission is to promote NEHS’s curricular and extracurricular activities, aiming to improve school spirit, provide enrichment, and foster positive relationships among students, teachers, parents, administrators, and the community.

The Action Club provides support for many school-sponsored events and fun fundraisers, including:

- Back to School Activities
- Meet the Teacher Night
- Homecoming
- Concession Stands for indoor sporting events
- Valentine Grams
- NEHS Senior Banners
- NEHS Yard Banners
- Sports Award Programs
- NEHS Stadium Business Banner Sales
- Holiday Teacher Appreciation Luncheon
- Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

In addition to volunteer support, donations, and monetary contributions, the Action Club has financially contributed to NEHS initiatives, such as:

- Purchasing the electronic marquee at the school entrance to enhance communication
- Buying a Gator for use during sporting events, by the Athletic Trainer, and for maintenance
- Funding new banners for the gym and stadium
- Acquiring additional sound and video equipment
- "Adopting a Family" during the holidays
- Providing continuous financial support for various student clubs and enrichment activities

Most of our efforts require more than just funds; they also need volunteers! We welcome everyone to attend our meetings and events and encourage parents to get involved. We understand how busy families are today, and while our kids may seem like they don’t need us around, they actually need our support now more than ever. Stay connected and engaged in your child’s activities at school! The more people we have involved, the less each of us has to do, and the more we can offer our students and staff.

We are always looking for new ideas and fresh faces, so be part of the great things happening for the students and staff at North East High! Won’t you join us?
